FEBRUARY 20 - 22 AT RISING MOON RETREAT CENTER - SHERWOOD PARK, AB
Reclaim your essence …
Join our WEEKEND RETREAT
If you’re honest, something hasn’t been working for a while and your energy-levels just feel ‘off”.
You’re taking a dozen different supplements and squeezing in 10 minutes of meditations, movements or breathwork before your morning meetings.
You do your best to ‘eat healthy’ by drinking gallons of water, putting spinach in your smoothies and eat salads for lunch.
You take care of so much, your family, your parents and the heavy-lifting of your day to day life falls on you.
Your body feels tired in a way sleep doesn’t touch.
You wake up already tense. Your jaw clenches throughout your day without you even noticing. Your ‘nervous system’ never quite turns off and even if you’re relaxing on the couch watching a movie you have this underlying feeling that ‘you should be doing something else’ doing something more productive.
You tell yourself you’re just ‘a busy season’. That you’ll rest later. Once things slow down at work or with your family, you’ll take some time off or figure out why your digestion has been so off but your ‘busy season’ never seems to end and it never feels like the right time to do something for you…
There’s never a perfect time or a season that’s not busy.
To feel your best you simply need to decide the time to rest, relax, nourish and shift your approach with your body is right now.
This weekend experience is your refuge from the busyness of life – Designed for you to reclaim your vitality and leave feeling renewed and restored.
YOGA | MEDITATION | AYURVEDIC TEACHINGS | 1:1 BODY WORK SESSION

Embrace the Power of Nature
Surrounded by open land, sky, fire, and water, Rising Moon invites you to slow down and reconnect with the rhythms that steady your nervous system and soften your body. This is not about going far away, but about coming back into balance through fresh air, natural light, and simple moments of presence held by the land. Nature here becomes a quiet guide, gently reminding you how to rest, release, and return to yourself.
We are so excited to welcome you to our SIMPLY WELL Experience…
There’s a world in which you don’t need to get sick or catch a cold to go offline from your emails for the weekend.
The Simply Well retreat is an opportunity for you to start the new year grounded in a different perspective…
At this retreat you will learn the simple shifts to your daily routine like starting your day with warm water and lemon, taking one minute to tune into the calming sound of running water or how you can easily begin integrating the 6 tastes into your meals to feel less bloated and achieve hormone balance.
The changes required for you to feel full of energy in the morning (before you’ve even had your coffee) and for your clothes to feel like they fit so well…aren’t drastic.
You don’t need to fast, detox or go on a rigid diet for 30 days.
You simply need to get back into rhythm.
I’ve witnessed this again and again in my work as an Ayurvedic doctor…
When my clients stop seeing rest as a reward and health as something they need to work really hard to achieve and simply start prioritizing hormone balance through an Ayurvedic diet, nervous system balance through yoga nidra and meditation and bodywork sessions that allow you to let go, relax and receive…
Sleep deepens. The Mind quiets. Your body softens. Decisions become clearer. The constant edge of feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about your next step eases.

SIMPLY WELL RETREAT
A weekend of rest, care, and connection through Ayurveda
Every part of this weekend has been chosen to support your nervous system, your energy, and your lived experience as a woman.
Daily Yoga Nidra practices guide you into deep, restorative rest, helping calm the nervous system, support sleep, and replenish what has been depleted. There is nothing to do here except lie down and allow yourself to be held.
Gentle, nourishing movement supports circulation, joint health, and embodiment without pushing or overriding your body’s needs. These practices are slow, intuitive, and accessible.
Guided breathwork sessions offer grounding, supportive techniques to release held tension and create a felt sense of safety in the body.
Sound bowl healing sessions use vibration and tone to support deep relaxation, emotional release, and subtle energetic balance.
Each attendee receives one private, nourishing Ayurvedic bodywork session, uniquely tailored to her dosha, the season, and her present state of being. This intuitive, seasonal treatment is designed to calm the nervous system, build ojas, and help the body remember how to rest deeply.
Ayurvedic teachings for women’s health are woven gently throughout the weekend, offering practical, seasonal wisdom you can actually integrate into real life.
There is also spacious, unstructured time for rest and integration. Time to nap, journal, walk, or simply sit quietly without needing to be productive.
And finally, connection. A small circle of women who understand what it means to give deeply and are ready to receive. This is a space where you are seen, supported, and not required to be anything other than yourself.
